It started before I joined the academy. I had no idea what I was going to do in life. When I got accepted, I only knew that I was going to learn in the Apple ecosystem and mostly work with Swift. It turned out that I learned precious things more than the technology itself. I learned about collaboration, creativity, challenge-based learning, and problem solving, skills that helped me to get direction in life. I also grew a value that I will hold for the rest of my life, curiosity. Simply being curious about anything makes me willing to learn about new things. Other values that shaped me are simplicity, courage, empathy, respect, integrity, innovation, and joy. With those values, I believe that everything I have learned at the academy will give me the confidence to do whatever I love.
